Meet Paige, yoga teacher

Hey, I’m Paige! I am rather eclectic, highly energetic, decidedly gregarious, easily excitable, moderately analytical, surprisingly introspective and untiringly curious.

I’d rather be outside, barefoot. I dance (decently) when waiting for the subway, and sing (poorly) when on my bike. I laugh unabashedly and read a lot of books. I’m based in Brooklyn, NY.

What to expect:

My classes thoughtfully combine elements of yoga, pilates, mindfulness techniques and breathwork to weave a grounded, embodied experience. My teaching is articulate and approachable, inviting self-exploration, curiosity and self-compassion.

I put equal emphasis on anatomical principles, awareness practices and intuitive experience. I believe that an embodied practice should engender inquiry, deep listening and expression as the ingredients for leading a simultaneously introspective and playful life. I encourage my students to move in ways that feel nourishing, sustainable, joyful, and connected to their own selves. You can read more about me at

The Retreat Site

Argilaia is a rural farmhouse built in the classic style of the Maremma Tuscany region. It sits on 4-acres among olive groves, mediterranean woodland and agricultural fields. It is located 3 miles from the hamlet of Murci and 6 miles from the town of Saturnia, renowned for its natural thermal baths.

Build in the late 19th-century using local stone and traditional styles, the house is designed to “breath”. There is no AC on the property, but built-in fans and local building techniques keep the home fresh and breezy.

The farmhouse is surrounded by a delightful flower and native plant garden that you are encouraged to roam. Set among the flora is a fresh water in-ground swimming pool. A short walk leads to a bubbling brook, ample countryside trails, and all the nature Tuscany has to offer.

Meet Linda, chef

Hi there, my name is Linda. I was born and raised in Tuscany. Ever since I was young I have loved food and the art of nourishing people. Growing up in the Italian countryside, I was raised with a “farm-to-table” lifestyle. I continue to cook with freshly harvested ingredients and now combine my Italian heritage with recipes and cuisines that I have gathered from around the world. My cooking utilizes a wide range of colors, flavors and aromas, direct from mother nature.

Although I have cooked in restaurants, I prefer preparing food for small group settings where I am offered the chance to nourish body, mind and spirit. I cook with passion and place great emphasis on beauty, color, and tradition to honor the people I’m feeding.

The retreat includes 3 daily meals plus light snacks prepared with love. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated.
